WOOOO HOOO! My insurance is covering the CGMS!!

    I just got off the phone with United HealthCare and they are covering the CGMS for me under DME. I am ecstatic!

    DME == "Durable Medical Equipment'

    which sometimes separate deductibles and annual limits.

    Sorry about that. The answer is "sort of."

    I am responsible for $299 upfront because my pump is less than 3 years old. Everything else for the CGMS I pay 10% after the $500 deductible is met...but only up to a maximum of $2500 under the DME plan.

    Was that easy enough? Me either.:p
