I was just curious because I have seen a few names posted in different threads.

I am not very creative in thinking up names. Ours is Christian's Cause. Actually my sister came up with the name.:cwds:

We don't have a JDRF chapter here, so we do the ADA's walk, and our team's name is "Emma's Team."

No points for creativity there, huh? Our shirts are cute, though. They're pink with her handprints on them.

Wow those are some great names. Whatever the name it's all for a great purpose.:cwds: I work at a school and I am organizing a walk through ADA in November. It will be the whole school and they get sponsors just like we do for the JDRF walk. I can't wait I am so excited. I got our local market to donate 1000 bottles of water and I have to hit up Smart and Final for some fruit for snacks after the walk.

Our shirts show Hannah and her twin holding hands and walking and the shirts read, "Walking together to find a cure."

    Danielle's Dream

My signature has a picture of the back of our t-shirt this year. The front had an elephant sleeping and dreaming about no diabetes and said "Don't Dream the Dream" and on the back has the elephant walking holding a JDRF shoe and says "Live the Dream". The elephant is her symbol of how to deal with diabetes. It has to do with the business model of doing things one step at a time. Her daddy asked her in the hospital how to eat an elephant. He told her "one bite at a time", so that is her motto. We drew an elephant on the white board they had in her room and every time she would make a big step, they would put teeth marks in the elephant. When it was all gone and she did her own shots, she got to come home.
