I have been told red and I have been told Grey. I need help.
Grey is the official color.
I have seen some ribbons in red, but that is the official color for Aids awareness.
Grey... But I've seen other colors too.
Mine is gray with a drop of red blood.
Are you guys buying these ribbons somewhere? For clothes, keyrings, what? I'm interested
It is grey with a red blood drop on the end. DH has a tattoo of it.
How come our kids get Grey? what a lame color. Lets change it to rainbow... oh.... ok no. Nevermind that.
WEll. I like the drop of blood.
why does it have to be a ribbon?
Its grey.. I found this and thought it was interesting...
Here you go, hope this helps.

Would love to get some of these - is there a website that anyone knows of?
Was thinking the same thing!! Found them on www.magnetamerica.com
There are also the JDRF sneaker magnets for the cars.. three different colors, if you are intersted, pm me.. I have a bunch, and ALL the money goes back to JDRF
Google diabetes ribbon and you can find a bunch of stuff.
Mines on my blog, but I know you can buy them in different forms.
The Blue Circle is being promoted internationally and was the symbol for the campaign for a UN resolution on diabetes. http://www.worlddiabetesday.org/.
I had never heard of a grey ribbon until today. Much prefer the Blue Circle.
I think the circle is the symbol for World Diabetes Day which is in November. The ribbon is for diabetes awareness.
The ones we have are grey with a drop of red blood and say "cure diabetes". I got them from pumpwear online--where we get Tessa's pump packs.
I would still go for just one symbol no matter whether it is for awareness or celebrating the day. That is part of the "success" of the HIV and breast cancer campaigns, they are consistent in their media materials and emblems.
There is a web site for the gray with the drop of blood. There are others as well but they are the red and white ones.
hope this helps
