Most definitely my phone, the internet, and my kiddos.

 

Figuring family and insulin are givens......

I'd say my cellphone - or else I'd have no contact with older DS - and my car. I hate to be without wheels!

diet pepsi...just one a day....but if I don't have it watch out!!!!

 

Besides kids and grandkids, I'd have to say my friends, both IRL and here at CWD and I couldn't have you without the internet.--Diet coke and chocolate are both high on the list too.

 

Diet Coke and some form of exercise that makes you sweat.

 

Books!!!! Always have to have something to read. I carry a small paper back in my bag, in case I ever have to wait somewhere.
And music, I nearly always have the radio or a cd on.

I should also add my glasses. I am completely blind without them, and have knocked myself out before trying to walk around without them on.

I've been where I'm at for almost a year, no cell so I know I don't need it, I do have internet but it goes down freqently so I really don't need that, haven't driven my car in almost a year. But without music and my friends this year would be horrible!! (going home very soon!!!)

-knitting needles (or crochet hook!) and enough yarn to make something
OR a pencil and some paper.

Throw some syringes in there and I'd be all set to live on a deserted island...

 

I am know for always having Burt's Bees Lip Balm on me. DH has gone so far to suggest I am addicted. (pause while I reapply) I would say my cell phone, since it gives me the peace of mind to leave my house and not miss calls about Jake.

But take all that away and I would struggle without the friends and family that surround us, support us and love us.

I've been thinking about this. A car is a necessity isn't it? I'll say a car if I have to but that sort of goes without saying like family and insulin in my book. So I'm going to say, Topamax my migraine medicine and Excedrin. I'm a druggy.

 

I have a black Sharpie in my pocket all the time at work at it would be on my list too. I have to have my tools to do my job and my favorite is probably my Noga indicator holder with the on/off magnetic base.

Away from work? A good quality mattress. I'm surprised no one else has said that yet. Most of us are sleep deprived, therefore having a comfortable mattress is super important.

 

Probably my contact lenses followed by music and the Internet.

 

I've had rx sunglassses since I was about 20 and will never go back. Every two years I get a new pair since they are abused so much.

Mine are so dark they don't even show up as a color choice in the eyeglass shop! I made a special request about 10 years ago to make a color that was about 3 shades darker than the darkest they had. So what I do now is hand them my old glasses and say "make them exactly this dark".

 

For the sharpies people...what do you use them for? I'm curious.
Ummm, maybe I don't know what a sharpie is...is it a black felt-tip marker?

 

Children and insulin have been proven a given right? My plane, scuba reg, and hunting license.
