Vitamin D ?

    d drops

    we have this little bottle of "drops" got them in amazon I think
    I just drip two drops in her drink twice a day

    have not had any issues

    hope that helps

    just google D drops
    they say infant on them but I use them still with my 7 year old

    Our pediatrician was the one that put DS on 1000u/d and 2000u x2 week- I think his level was around 21. We use the tootsie roll type found at GNC. The kids seem to like them.

    Our endo didn't care either way if we started the Vit D.

    Whit was low last summer to 21 took 50000 unit once weekly for 12 weeks came up to 46 supplement with 2000 units every day now. I am also low and not diabetic I am now on a second round of 50000 unit for another 12 weeks.

    Anna was tested and is fine. We take a lemon lozenger that the kids like. It's a little white pill and dissolves under the tongue. They are each 1000 and we usually take two.

    There have been a lot of articles and research out about D and T1 in the last couple of years. Bella takes between 10,000 & 15,000 IU's a day. It has made a huge difference in her numbers and the efficacy of her insulin.

    Whoa! What are her vitamin D levels now? What did they start at?
