Received the new pods today
Anyone else get these? What do you think? Notice any difference?
Are you talking about the ones that took the plunger out of the syringe? Or did they change the pods themselves now? What's an occultation pod?
Changed and updated the pods themselves just got a new shipment and they were all the new ones
What's new about them? Are you talking about Omnipods?
They fixed the occupation detection on the pods. So that you would not lose as many pods.
Additional monitoring has been added to the pod occlusion algorithm to confirm an actual occlusion or other non delivery of insulin versus a rise in pressure. When it senses a rise in pressure it will monitor for 30 minutes instead of alarming for deactivate
How do you know they are updated? Was there a note on the box? We received a box yesterday and nothing looks different. Maybe we were already using the new ones.
What do you mean by "occupation detection"?
I'm guessing occulation and occupation both autocorrects for occlusion?
You get a letter and there is a yellow symbol on the box
Lol yes occulation not occupation stupid auto correct on phone
No occlusion is right only spell correct error was occupation instead of occulation
I don't think occulation is a word. When I google it all that comes up is this thread and an episode of "The Stain" on FX.
