Think the kids are out to get me, well more like fate.

    Woke up to a sick 5 year old took her in with fever and really sore throat. Now Cassie is saying that her tummy hurts and she is not hungry and she hasn't ate in like 5 hours now but her numbers are rising is this cause she is getting sick or what??? I am at a loss right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    x.x In our school district a kid got whooping cough. I think it could be a sign of sickness. When I get sick we break apart small pieces of crackers and I eat those. I would say it sounds like she possibly could be getting sick...

    Just test often than usual and adjust insulin as needed. Test for ketones as well.
    And don't hesitate to take the kids to the doc.
    Hope they feel better soon.
