Any children on Symlin (the synthetic Amylin). I am just wondering if anyone is using another tool in their box and if so, how is it going?

Symlin hasn't been studied in children, but that doesn't mean that there aren't children who take it.

That being said, I've started taking it, about a whole week now on it. I haven't noticed any drastic changes, but this past week was not the best week to determine if it's right for me (drastic girlie hormone swings  ). So, we'll see how it goes.

I guess, since it's been a few weeks, I'll update.

I was started on a very low dose, but I've seen some improvements. My post meal bgs seem to be better, but I'll have to wait for my meter download for a definitive answer rather than my speculation.

I'm guessing at my next appointment that we'll up the dose, but we'll see.
