We're doing a test run with a Medtronic Veo this weekend, using Sure-T infusion sets. So easy to insert, however, our 8 yr son complains of ongoing pain (from the needle area)-he's very lean. We've tried the abdominal area 2x-both times painful, and the rear (above buttocks) once. Most success with rear-until he used his backside to push himself out of a deep chair. Any thoughts?

We use Sure-Ts with the smallest needle. Maybe your needle is too long? Or perhaps you need to pinch a bit of skin before insertion? If you're using the tush, imagine drawing longish eyebrows:eek: and that's the area you want to use, to avoid sitting on the site.
My son is very lean too and has no real issues with the Sure-Ts.

    Good luck!
