I couldn't contain it. I just had to share. Today we got a phone call from Medtronic. Our edno signed the prescription and the ins gave the approval. Connor's pump will be here next week!!!! Excuse me while I jump for joy :D

Thanks! We are so excited. Biggest smile I've seen on my kid in a long time.

I'm a little anxious about all the learning we will have to do but so happy about the freedom it will bring.

Lee ~ I love your 2nd "diagnosis" I have a 12 year old that I think suffers from chronic eye rolling as well ;)

Great news! We started pumping a little over a month ago and it has totally changed our lives. You're going to love it!

I wanted to add that on Tuesday, I bolused Ryan for food TEN times. It was awesome.

Well, he didn't eat 10 separate times - just wanted to make that clear. He had his regular meals and snacks, but I gave him more insulin if he wanted something else. :)

    WOOT WOOT!!! Congrats!
We have a Minimed and have been on it for about a month. Life has been sooooooooooo much smoother.

We were jumping for joy too! You're entitled! :)
