Rules for Diabetes Mangement at Premier soccer level

Daughter is a premier soccer player. Recently discovered she will not be able to come out to test blood sugar and be allowed to return to game. Has anyone encountered this situation?

 

Where are you located? England? And how old is your daughter?

 

United States. She will be 15 next month.

 

I recall my friend telling me her son kept Glucose tabs in his soccer socks.

Who is telling her that she can't come out to test and return?

My son plays elite soccer - and we have never encountered this issue. Not even a hint of it.

If he has to come out - he's usually out for a few minutes, but can return any time the next sub is allowed. - U14 btw.
