Oh yeah - and Tyler too!

Last weekend we made a 5 hour drive for Tyler to go to his first ever concert. He went to Lady Gaga (or Ladyboy Goo Goo as our friends call her!)

Carl and I let go of the apron strings and allowed him to go with friends of ours - a mother and her 18 yr old daughter. We piled them up with jelly beans and snacks in any pocket they could spare so between them they probably had about 300g of carbs - just in case.

He had a ball. They managed to get about 4 people from the front and it looks like his cell phone camera got a good workout. He snacked up before going and was still 6.4 (115) after nearly 4 hours of doing whatever teens do at concerts these days.

Carl and I both spent the night pretending we weren't anxious, but we both know that each of us was!;)

All in all, he did a great job with his D, and his parents did a great job of allowing him! (although we both probably have a few more grey hairs to show for it!:D

    Ditto with Ben!

Very good job! I just started to let Ben have play dates again:cwds:

I think I would have wanted to see Ladyboy Goo Goo though. It has to be entertaining.

She was on stage for nearly 3 hours. She collapsed at the end and had to be helped off by stage hands.
All the reviews here in NZ reckon it was an amazing show and well worth the money. Wish we had gone too!
