I am also very curious as to what occured. I read on the UK board that they supposedly had a specialist appt on January 2nd.......I find it difficult to understand why she would not have come back and posted after the appt with how much she posted in the months leading up to it............

 

Sometimes I Google usernames when I am curious. You should try it...

 

I just googled my username, and found hundreds of web profiles and such, none of which are me!

 

As far as I'm aware the bloods came back ok, but Tracy was to go back to the specialist with Holly. I can't remember when exactly, but I think it's not till March. I'll try and find out more.

 

It's definitely not true so don't worry. I know it can happen, and has done, but it's not the case here.

Tracy has had genuine worries about her daughter, and has had terrible problems with the NHS. I know she is grateful for all the support she was given here. I've emailed her, I expect she'll come along an update you all soon.

Life isn't always simple, and sometimes unexpected things can happen that you need to concentrate on, she hasn't intensionally disappeared.

sorry for not reposting a reply i had some people sending messages that were not very nice in my inbox and in the main form and i just didn't have the energy to argue with people like that, all i can say on that matter is i am and was truley worried about my daughter. i came here to get some advice and it just so happens i fell upon some really nice people and have made some friends, :cwds:that was not my intention at all.

i have been to see the consultant and had some bloods done, thank-god they all came back normal

she is still under the consultant and they are trying to find out whats going on, holly seems well in her self still and as each month goes on i feel alot better about the hole thing, she still has problems going to the toilet she still can't controll her stools. her weight is ok and she does seem to put on weight but then she might lose again in some weeks.

i will of course keep you up to date with things as i find out but as for D i think that that's prob not the problem. she hasn't had any high's for a while although she did before the highest she got at the docs i bleive was 9.6 they are going to keep an eye on her and do some more test.

I'm so glad to hear the problem probably isn't D, and I hope they find out what's wrong soon. I hope your daughter is feeling much better soon!

Thank you for coming to give an update, some of us have really wondered and worried about Holly, and looked for updates. I hope you get answers soon, but I'm glad she doesn't have D.

I'm sorry to read that you have gotten unkind messages from some on here as I don't think this forum should ever be used that way.

i agree i can't understand it really? i didn't ask for the support and kindness i got although i wouldn't change it! CWD helped to understand alot and i am very gratefull for that. like i said i was looking up holly's sympotoms and came across this form and posted a link to ask for some advice! and the responce i got was amazing!?! i didn't know at the time i was going to get that kind of responce so how anyone could say i was lieing? (for what i don't understand that still?)

anyway thanks for your support like i said it means alot and too know there are kind people in this world is a good thing

i hope that what ever is going on with holly she continues the way she is as i am happy at the moment with the way things are going xxx

A while back, there was a girl on here who was lying for attention, and it's happened on some of the other forums I've been on as well. I think that because it happened so recently on here, people are getting worried slightly more easily than before.

So, Holly is still having appointments to find the cause of her other symptoms, right? Or are you just "keeping an eye on things"?

i just think people should be a little bit more? (umm what's the word?) well you know what i mean?

becuase you know if someone like i did came here for help and advice and she/he got turned away becuase everyone thought she/he was a lier? there could be some poor child out there needing help!

my doctor didn't listen to a word i said and maybe they were right not to listen to me yer? but what if they wasn't right? i came here becuase i had no where else to go for advice i didn't at the time know that most of the people on here was going to be so caring and a really big support! i was shocked at the responce i got from CWD never have i seen this kind of caring from an internet form?

This CWD form is like a Big form family they all help each other through good and bad times i read story's on here somtimes and can not hold back the tears i don't know how you all do i really don't it must be so hard somtimes.

i respect each and everyone of you for what you do every single day, at the end of the day you are all fighting to keep your children alive!

i am not sure i could do that? i am sure if i was put in that postion i would have to! but never would i wish for or lie about somthing like this?

i understand that none of you know me personally but you all make that choice seeking friendship and advice every single day talking on here right?

anyway holly is still under the consultant and i am waiting on her next appointment to see what's happening next? all her bloods came back clear so i am assuming that the doc is happy other wise she would have called? i will keep you up todate on everything if you all still wish me too? i just don't want to over stay my welcome.

You are always welcome here. Misunderstandings happen and I for one am sorry if I DID doubt you. But it sounds as if this is the place you need to be. You're right, the people here are great! I hope you get some answers about Holly very soon!!

 

Even if you can't find time with 4 children to care for, I hope you know that you have been thought of and prayed for, worried and cared about by many here and that we do hope the best for you, Holly and the entire family.
