    Hi,

I haven't been around for awhile, sorry. But I have a question. Alex now has a Droid phone and was asking what a good carb counting app is. Any suggestions?

We use an iPhone app called Track 3. We also just google a particular food or go to company websites.

GoMeals by Sanofi Aventis. It's based on Calorie King, and we love it.

I use GoMeals the most - it is free but not sure if they have a Droid version. It has a lot of restaurant foods which is helpful - and will locate places close to you.

Thanks everyone. I think Calorie King and many others must not have a Droid app but he found Calorie Counter by Fatsecret and that seems to work.

Hi Barb, it is good to see you again.
I also use Track 3 and really like it. It is really good for so many things related to diabetes and has a huge food database. I like it because of it versatility and that it has so many features that are important for people with diabetes.
I also have the Calorie King App on my IPod Touch.
Calorie King is not available for the Droid Phones so far.

Hi Deafmack and Caspi! Thanks for the info. I'll bookmark the gomeals and track3 info in case he decides he doesn't like the fatsecret one.
