I have been informed by key legislators that the Diabetes school care bill has been tabled for the moment in the States House Education Committee due to concerns by the PSBA Pennsylvania School Board Association and the PSEA Pennsylvania School Employee Association and lack of support and push from the diabetes community and parents.

In the very near future the states Epipen bills, HB #1136 and SB #736 will be voted on and look very good to become law due to the push from the allergen needs community and lack of opposition from the above named Associations.

I implore you to contact the chairman of the Pennsylvania House Education Committee (Rep.James Roebuck) as well as your local state representative to support the diabetes bill. I am working to have all parties come to the table for agreement and compromise but we all need to act now
