Dear D (and we use the term Dear very loosely),

It has come to our knowledge that once again you have been less than correct when dealing with our children's BGs (and before you smart-mouth us about BGs, the group, it?s not them, ok?).

Due to the repetitive nature of your offense, we have had to call a meeting of the BOD of PofCWD and we have drawn the following list of criteria, with which you must comply, unless you want further tush-kicking.

    Here are our demands:

    - NO lows after dinner
    - NO highs after dinner (we will allow a slight spike, but going overboard is not acceptable)
    - NO ketones, hyperglycemia-related or otherwise
    - NO unexpected highs or lows in the middle of the night
    - NO change in basal requirements without at least 2 days advance notice
    - Idem for change in bolus requirements
    - NO rapid fluctuations of BGs
    - *Special request from CGMS users - NO rollercoasting graphs. A nice, subtle wavy line is demanded
    - NO doing your own thing without first calling a meeting of those concerned by your actions
    - NO playing by your rules. We have ours and it's about time you follow them

These are to be implemented immediately.

Should you decide not to abide by our rules, then we shall be obliged to hold you hostage and require ransom money from your siblings, Hypo and Hyper, so that we can finance our pity parties' round of drinks.

    Yours disrespectfully,

    Pi**ed-off Parent of CWD

PS - Watch your back. We have needles.

Oh Paula, I wish D would listen! Stayed up to be ~K's CGMS last night, trying to figure out why she gets those HIGHS right around midnight. Nope, she doesn't rebound. She just steadily goes up.

Have you raised her Lantus yet as Wilf suggested?
