Has anyone heard any news about Omnipod & a cgm? Or about the new smaller pod? We'd been waiting to get a cgm until after this happened but now we're wondering when? Also, if you went ahead and got a cgm, which one did you get and do you like it? I see Omnipod has this message on their site:

"Today, the OmniPod System can be paired (not integrated) with any available continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. We currently have development agreements in place with both Abbott Diabetes Care and DexCom. In the future, you may have a choice of FreeStyle Navigator? or DexCom Seven Plus? CGM technology integrated directly into your OmniPod System."

    Thank you.

That means the radio frequencies are compatible, so you can use both devices at once. They're working on DexCom integration so you won't need a second receiver, but that's about it.

Dexcom integration is probably next, but I wouldn't wait. The stand alone receiver is smaller than the Omnipod PDM. A second receiver is very useful even after integration.
