Hi everyone, I'm a mother to 3 boys. Two of the have type 1 My oldest was 5 years old when we found out. He's now 12 My middle child is not diabetic My youngest is 7 and was diagnosed July 31 2013
Welcome Our stories are similar - we had one diagnosed, then went years before the second diagnosis. Hope your boys are doing well and the adjustment is going okay for you. I know that our second diagnosis was much harder to accept!
Glad you found this site...though I suspect you have more to teach than learn considering the number of years you've been at this! Sorry for the most recent dx, though. Hope the transition is going well! :cwds:
