Today my sister had her babies, she had 2 baby boys :)
They are 6 lbs 3 oz and 6lbs 10 oz. She is going to name them tomorrow or tell us tomorrow, so I don't know their names yet!
Pretty sure they are identical, but they dont necessarily look it in the pic.

Oh, and the pic is taken from a camera phone so not good quality!

What beautiful babies! My step daughters have been DNA confirmed as identical, but from when I met then at 7 till now at 17, they do look physically similar, but not at all identical to each other.

I didnt bother we are sure mine are ID. They were in the same placenta it wasnt fused but they did have a membrane separating them. Which = ID twins. Plus both boys with the same blood type. With all that they are ID. Most people cant tell them apart BUT to me they look way different and always have until I look back at old pics with just one of them in it and I dont have a clue which on it is lol.

I have ID female cousins when they were younger nobody but me and their parents could tell them apart in a rather large family until they were older.

Nice healthy weights for twins - mine were 6lbs 6oz & 6lbs 4oz. I just know how much better your sister must be feeling now. :D

Wow - you had two regular sized babies, too. Mine were 6lbs. 12oz. and 7lbs. 4oz. They were huge for twins!

Congrats Auntie!!! Sis will need all the extra help she can get. The very nicest thing you can do right now is watch them for her so she can sleep. They sure are cute little twinkies!

Congrats! They are adorbale! Brings back such sweet memories! Mine were 5lbs 1oz and 5 lbs 2oz at 34 weeks...I can't imagine how she carried 2 6 pounders!!! good for her! Mine were in one placenta - 2 sacks, but they tested cord blood (routine at our hosp) and they were 99.997% id! I aggree with previous poster...I would reccommend she write names on pics even if she can tell them apart now...mine have never looked alike to me, but when I look back at pics the only way I can tell is hat or clothes...someone told me they would always put twin A on the left in pics...wish I had thought of that!!

Good luck to your sister! They are truly beautiful!

    Congrats!

I'm the mom of ID twins, and she had some nice big babies! Mine were full term and only 4.8 and 5.0 lbs.

There was uncertaintity for us about them being ID or not and it wasn't until D did we decide to do the DNA test. That came back to confirm they are ID. However, as PP said, personality wise, they aren't ID at all!

Again, congrats to you and your family!
