I need help with site locations for CGMS (MM) on a very thin young man (6' and 108lbs).

We have tried three sensors, all located on the tummy, and all have bent when inserted causing trauma and pain. We are trying to insert at a 60? angle but are still having problems. The sensors still seem accurate enough ranging from 4 to 10 points of the BG. The real problem is comfort.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

One other question not related to CGMS.......... how do you capitalize the whole title on a thread?

I am thin but not like your son. I did not do well with abdomen sites, too much movement, clothes rubbing, thin, etc. Rear no luck. Best luck with thighs and arms. Stand when you do the thighs. Check with your CDE for the angle that would be good or see if you can find a serious athlete to get tips from. The athletes use them and they are just skin and muscle. Good luck. Ali
