To everyone celebrating Christmas tomorrow (or today in New Zealand and Australia and other parts of the world) I hope your day is filled with joy and peace. With decent blood sugars, many laughs with loved ones, time to relax in your jammies and fuzzy slippers, lots of yummy food and the love of family and friends as you gather together:cwds:

I just asked DD what her favourite food was at my family's Xmas Eve gathering that offered an over-the-top amazing array of fine foods and her reply was "the chocolate covered almonds". Not too high considering, but today is not the day to sweat blood sugars....just bring them down and move on to the next pigout.

Merry Xmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays to all.

May we experience the peace, love and hope of this day even amongst family;)

Just treated a 46 a bit ago. So thankful for a pantry full of sugary Christmas goodies! And moving on. :cwds:

No you were clear. I'm just trying to convince myself not to sweat the low. ;) Inwardly I am sweatin' it, smiling on the outside though. Been trying to figure out why but there are too many factors today. He's enjoying his day and feels fine now...SIGH. :cwds:

I think you're doing the right thing. You can't really overanalyse Christmas - it's just too unusual. So, treat and move on. :) Christmas dinner really did wonders for my CGM graph... I really struggle to bolus right for mashed potato. And Christmas pudding is not good either. But it was a lovely day with family. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!! I treated a 37 mg/dL today, but other than that, everything has gone pretty well!

It is too unusual to try to figure out. So far from our normal routine and normal eating patterns. But it's once a year. :cwds:I hope the potatoes and pudding weren't too hard on your BGs later on.

    Oh glad you caught that!

LOL. I looked at your graph and couldn't figure out why you'd spiked so high with it reading 161....Only it was 16.1 instead. BIG difference!
