Licking the bowl.

    Honestly, I am not sure why carb counting enters my mind.

    They should be able to just enjoy.

    I am sure they do. You are the one who remembered. Be sure to allow her to enjoy licking the bowl without saying anything.

    It's hard not to view EVERYTHING they put into their mouths as possible carbs, isn't it?

    It's never bothered me. DD doesn't remember ever licking a bowl without dosing so it's just second nature. I guess I just never really thought about it because it's totally our normal!

    Ashleigh still likes to lick the bowl. Most times we just do our best guess on the carb amount.

    I think one can carb count and be happy, too.
