The display will light up white, it doesn't work but I am hopeful. It keeps doing some weird beeps too. Has anyone else done this and succesfully revived their phone? I googled it and some people have had success in getting their's dried out. No insurance!
Try this, place it in a bag of rice, be sure to take the battery out of it..leave phone in the bag for a few days, rice will absorb the moisture
Well, if you don't have rice, you could leave it somewhere, with the battery out, to dry without the rice. That could could take 1-2 weeks, or MORE though. (My dad told me it would take a week for my flash drive I washed to dry.)
Don't power it up. You could put it on the tv when it's on too when it's warm. Basically anything that's warm (not in the oven ) to dry it out. I tried rice too - just adding the warm things because you didn't have rice.
I agree with the rice. I would also put the battery in a separate bag of rice. I wouldn't even try to power it on for a couple of days
