My Bosch is 10 years old. I don't use any rinse agent.

I would have loved to have this info 5 months ago. I purchased an LG to replace a Kenmore I had. All of the attachments of the LG are in the front and I had to fish the electrical and water in small channels under the unit. I felt like a plumber cutting the copper drain tube because it stuck up so much the back of the LG hit it. I eventually got it going and I like it (not love). It's a decent machine for the price.

Good Luck!! We just moved and the new house came with a 30 year old whirlpool. It was pretty gross- and I contemplated moving my newish dishwasher to replace it; I ultimately decided against it and decided to give the dinosaur a whirl. It sounds like a freight train but man can it clean! They all seem like junk to me, right now. I'm sticking with the scuzzy dinosaur :)
