but they are asking my for a co-pay of $5 FOR doctor visits,$10 for brandname medication,$4 for generic medications the problem is i have no job right now and take 3 brand name medications and 4 generice medications and have to visit 5 diffent doctors can any give me any segestion regarding how i can get my med? thanks
Those co-pays are actually pretty daggone cheap. We pay $40 for each specialist visit and $25 or $50 for prescriptions. How do you have insurance with that great coverage without a job? I would find odd jobs, sell some items, do things to get the money.
I agree... I wouldn't be complaining at all. It's unfortunate that you aren't currently employed, but my co-pays are $50 for the doc and $55 for my insulin.. my other prescriptions are $35 each. My pump supplies and CGM sensors I pay for out of pocket. I wish my co-pays were as low as yours...
That health insurance plan is available in Arizona for those who are not working so have no access to an employer based plan. They are raising co-pays but is not is not mandatory for some categories. http://www.azahcccs.gov/members/copayments.aspx
