You are such a nut How are things going? We have some new insurance and I just sent away the paperwork to see if they will cover a CGMS for DD.
Things are going. We entered the 'I'm not going to eat anything' stage which was really frustrating -- thank goodness for basals that apparently were correct. Saw a 1.7 the other day (unrelated to eating) that I caught while she was sleeping that freaked me out a little. Other then that not much going on PLEASE let me know when you find out about the CGM. I haven't heard anything about insurance covering...but I also haven't asked.
I'm going down in history as the Canadian with the oldest D child to post in the Canada forum! (maybe the oldest Canadian to post too - yikes!)
Since we're doing roll call... I'm a Canadian doing laundry at 1:30am to avoid higher hydro rates while I wait to do another bg check.
We have Standard Life and they covered it without any questions. In fact, I didn't think to get pre approval. We just purchased it and sent them the bill. They do subtract the first $2400 out of our yearly expenses because that's what the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) program provides here in Ontario.
Nothing is covered in Alberta without insurance. DH changed jobs hence the new coverage. Fingers are crossed.
haha Mimi I feel your pain. The TOU rates are making me crazy. I am trying so hard to be diligent, my hydro rates better reflect the effort!
A Canadian forum? Gee I may have to actually pay more attention to this spot No idea what I can be the first at...I may be the person who lives the furthest east??? Great to "see" everyone!
Am I the first bald guy to post on the Canada forum? How about the first non-Canadian to post on the Canada forum who has been to Lake Louise and thinks Canada is very beautiful and wants to go on vacation there real soon?
