We're just starting dd on Apidra, and are wondering how much to put in the reservoir. With Novolog, we've been filling the reservoir all the way and using it until it's gone, which is about a week. We're told that the Apidra is less stable. Wondering what other people's experiences have been.

My son changes Apridra when he changes his site -- every three days. It is usually good until the cartridge is empty.

We haven't had a problem with using 1 reservoir through 2 site changes (6 days).

    Appreciate the replies.

We started her on Apidra on Saturday and, so far, haven't seen much of a difference. We were hoping to reduce her post-prandial spikes and reduce her active insulin time, but that doesn't seem to be the case yet. We'll give it a little more time, though, and see how it plays out.
