I am so happy to have found a forum for T1D. My son was diagnosed in September 2011 at the age of 10. Prior to his diagnosis my knowledge of diabetes was limited. He has been pumping since January 2012 and has really taken charge of his own care. I hate this disease, but we are learning to live with the day to day management. Some days are great, others not so great. I look forward to reading this forum and learning from everyone's experience.
