I'm so sorry.
Oh man… that just stinks. I'm so sorry! I know that 'heart sink' feeling - got that when we tested my little one, because my husband is T1D, I knew exactly what it meant! Didn't stop me from using most of his bottle of strips, looking for another answer…
how old are the girls? How are each of them taking the diagnosis?
I'm so sorry. I know you will handle it with grace, but still--what a blow. Best of luck to all of you.
Ah Wendy, I'm so sorry. Hugs to Maddy but also hugs to Abby. She also going to have an adjustment on her hands. And take care of you.
(you totally should send a note to Sean and Molly, though. )
Wendy, I'm so sorry. Been there. But like you, they gave us a diagnosis and sent us on our merry way home with Nate, no hospital stay required. I hope the girls adjust to it as quickly as my boys did, and they can still make the camp date.
So sorry to hear. I hope the adjustment is not too difficult.
My girls are much younger than yours, but my youngest that was DX less than a year ago has just simply taken to all the Diabetes stuff and it has not phased her much. I hope the same for you and your girls.
While you will have double puberty, once my oldest finishes my youngest will start. not sure which wouold be preferable.
Good luck you can do this and so can they.
I so sorry. I'm glad she already has a GREAT support team!
So glad it was caught quickly and that you're well on your way to management! But very sorry to hear this. Hope she's feeling better soon.
So sorry you are having to deal with another diabetes diagnosis. At least you know what you are doing and didn't have to stay in the hospital, especially with all the snow you have been getting.
So sorry about the second diagnosis. If your at CBC this weekend, will see you there. Volunteering for the weekend. Hope it works out that they can go.
We got the green light to go, Deb H is our former nurse and so we can rest easy knowing she's with her That was all she wanted to know was if she could still go to Wacky!
I am so sorry to hear this. Good luck to your family!
Awesome. Can't wait to meet you! Jen
I saw this today and thought of your girl. New onset trial
I'm sorry to hear that.
I'm a bit pod with TrialNet at the moment. They never called us back with our results that were taken in November and they lost 2 of the results.
I am so sorry, wishing you and your family strength.
That is very unprofessional! I would be boiling also. Gives research a bad name. SorryAli
I am so sorry. Hugs
