    Hi all,

My name is Krishna - I'm T1 in NYC. I was diagnosed when I was 18 (am 26 now).

I've recently become very unhappy with the high price of insulin and would love to hear how others are coping with it. I used to pay $40 for Lantus and Novolog pens back in college. Now, I have to pay almost $250 at CVS.

So I've begun eating very low carb in order to reduce my insulin intake and save $$.

I'd love to hear from anyone else whose struggling with the high price of insulin!

    Krishna

Hi Krishna, Welcome to the forum. Dear, don't you have medical insurance to bear all these charges?

If you're eating low carb you might want to switch bolus insulin to Regular. It's cheap and you can buy it at Walmart without a prescription.
