Hey i am Fred and my family and I are relatively new with this diabetes thing.
I was wondering if you have any advice on how to better cope with it?

Are you worried about your sister? Are youworried about complications?
-this is the best time to have diabetes.-I mean the meters, pumps, and insulins are so much better than even 10 years ago. and the CGMS -wow.
-Your sister won't have this forever. they are very close to a cure. I mean it probably won't be tomorrow, or next year. but I'll bet by the time she's going off to college she won't have to worry about this.

Is it her moods that are hard to deal with? When my dd was dx it took her a while to get control of her moods-she was on nph and novolog-nph is very hard to be on. She would be so grouchy/moody everyday after school. She learned to deal with it/ or her numbers got better. now I can't tell by her mood if she's high. If she's grouchy just try to stay out of her way

Does this help answer your question?
