Kelton is in no big hurry to learn how to drive, however, he will be taking a course online for drivers education. Once he has passed this course then he can take the written test at DMV and then get his driving permit. Mark and I will first teach him how to drive on the desert sandy roads, and then take him out and teach him how to drive in town.. Kelton does not feel his lows until he is lower than 40, and this is why he is not in a hurry to learn to drive..
Happy birthday, dude. Hmmm...Most Ohio schools don't do Driver's Ed, so you have to pay a driving school for the classes which you HAVE to have to get your license at 16. It includes something like 24 hours in the classroom and 8 hours of driving with a certified instructor. Plus you have to have had your permit for 6 months and 50 hours of driving with an adult, 10 of which have to be at night. If you are diabetic, you have to have a letter from your endo stating that your blood sugar is sufficiently under control for you to be able to drive. The endo offices rightly preach that you have to test your blood every time you get behind the wheel. Zach is a year away from getting his permit. It's going to be interesting.
Happy Birthday to Kelton! Hope he has a great day! The driving age here is 15 - that is when you get your learners permit and can have lessons. Sam, our non-D is 15 in March Not only will I have sleepless nights worrying about Tyler and BG levels, now I can give a fair share of worry to Sam and driving!
Happy Birthday to Kelton!! I hope he has a wonderful birthday...Doing anything special for his birthday? Car dealership? lol..just kidding
