To make a long story short:

Abbott has made a mess of the refund for the navigator. Still waiting for it.

We hated to do it before our refunds - but we had some help and got the boys their Minimed Guardian.

    Minimed overnighted the systems.
Trainer came out tonight (we are on a school deadline for Monday).

Boys got their first calibration message `10 minutes ago.

    Wish us luck!!!!

    Good luck!!

My best advice is to be patient. It took me a while to "unlearn" the Nav when we moved to a different system. I think the hardest part for me was figuring out the best times to calibrate. It's a little different mindset, but in the end I much prefer the flexible calibrating schedule of the Dex and MM.

Good luck! My best advice to you is to not pull a sensor until you come on here and ask for advice. You can usually get a wonky one to straighten up and fly right if you know a couple of tricks. :)
