    For those of us old enough to remember, comic genius Chris Farley did a character on SNL who constantly did the "air quotes" thing....it was hilarious...it went something like this....

    Maybe I'm not "the norm." I'm not "camera friendly." I don't "wear clothes that fit me." I'm not a "heartbreaker." I haven't "had s*x with a woman;" I don't know "how that works." I guess I don't "fall in line." I'm not "hygienic." I don't "wipe properly." I lack "style." I have no "charisma" or "self esteem." I don't "own a toothbrush" or "let my scabs heal." I can't "reach all the parts of my body." When I sleep, I "sweat profusely."

    I'll add my own commonly misspelled word, learned painfully from years and years of personal experience:

    unpopular = people who point out your mistakes

    I think I lost the CWD popularity contest years ago, Scott. ;) Certainly I've never won Miss Congeniality.

    Sorry for the double post, but this reminded me:

    Spoilsport and killjoy are one word, but wet blanket is two words. ;)

    Which accounts for the 5 star rating and the 47 replies. Really unpopular :rolleyes: But then, maybe it's one of those, "gender inequity" things.;)

    I have a setting for the "Key Tone" on my phone. Does that count?

    Ha! It should make ME self-conscious. One of the most basic internet truisms is that if you point out a mistake in someone else's post, you're bound to have double the mistakes in your own post. Karma will bite me. Just wait. :cool:

    two= the number 2
    too=also Do you want to go to the store, too?

    This is the best site around for English usage, IMO: http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/errors.html

    I not only make tons of errors, I sometimes type in entirely wrong words that have no connection to anything else in the sentence. I have no idea where that comes from. Early senility maybe?
