When Liz was first diagnosed in December of 2008, I learned a ton here. One of the great things I learned about was the Salter Scale. We went through 2 of them, and she's a pro at carb counting now (after 7 1/2 years). But I'd like to get a new scale. Not only for but also for my boyfriend who is learning to carb counting and will be getting a pump soon. What does everyone recommend? I found this one on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Kitrics-Digi...&qid=1465871418&sr=1-19&keywords=salter+scale But I'm not sure if it's as good as the Salter Scale was.

We use Perfect Portions digital scale, and love it. This scale was introduced to us by our diabetes educator when we were first diagnosed. We have been using it ever since. The battery life lasts a long time, and pretty small and compact to take with us on travel sometimes.

We actually bought a different scale just to try something different, but we like this one better.

I don't weigh a ton of things for my daughter, just the occasional fruits, but we have the Perfect Portions scale as well and it's great. I think I got it at Bed, Bath and Beyond with a coupon.
