We have a confirmed case of strep and have been running a fever since Saturday (started antibiotics this morning). Has anyone else had the experience that when their child runs a fever, the pump site doesn't last longer than about a day? Is it possible that the insulin is overheating from being up against his hot core? He wears his pump on his back in a tank top.

We've never had this problem.. she tends to run higher with a fever anyway.. and I try not to change sites when she does have a fever because her skin is sensitive, I figured it would hurt, so I avoid that as long as I can.
