Fasting blood sugar way too high in child

    My 6.5 years old fasting sugar was 234,her Dr order another test cuz they said she might have diabetic .yesterday she had a slide of pie @school like 3 hours after meal I measure her with my Pregnant diabetic supply from 4 years ago and it said 403.it freaked me out .any parents experience this ,is my kid got diabetic or turn out some kinda diseases.im gonna take her to do her second blood test again on Saturday .thanks

    If you have not already taken her to a hospital, head to ER right now. Diabetes can turn seriously or even deadly with a misdiagnosis or delay in diagnosis. Unfortunately, it happens too frequently. Those levels are alarming for someone not yet on insulin.
