Thanks for asking the question...inquiring minds want to know.

I received a request from her, I have 15 pending friends, 10 are connected through D or CWD. I am not sure of them (either no screen name or no contact) so I have yet to add them.

I didn;t friend her since she didn't put down her screen name and I knew it wasn't sara deacon's mom.

Speaking of facebook---remember Teddi, Kelton's mom??? She unfriended me ages ago, but I get requests from her to win an ipod like 5 times a day, how can I stop that?? Tried to block her, but it won't let me since she isn't a friend

I suspect her account on FB was hacked. There's no real activity since Feb 09 until this spate of spammy "events" and offers started showing up. Check and make sure you are still unfriended. Somehow, I'm back on her list. Or I was. I blocked it to stop the spam.

you can go into your invites or notifications and hit 'ignore all invites from this person'.. that should do it. :)

I also wanted to add, that if you friend request me but don't put your cwd name, I won't accept it, for this very reason.

While we are on the subject of fb.. you should not only be careful of who you 'friend' but also of your privacy settings.

Airing your dirty laundry on FB is not always a good thing.

90 min??? Have you driven 95 lately??? I spent a week there one day last summer! LOL That NoVA traffic is crazy! (And to think I use to drive in to Boston a few times a week when I lived in MA.) But we probably have to go back up again this summer (for ds' rugby)....maybe I'll visit you then!:D

I have been living on 95 ever since my daughter started visiting, and then attending, CNU. Only thing worse is 64 in beach season.

She told my friend that her 10 yr old dd [name removed] has had D since she was 4. But I don't think she has ever been on CWD--at least not that I have ever seen.

If you look at Sara [last name removed]'s posts all the way back, she has no status updates other than game notifications, added friends or someone writing on her wall -- and no responses to those postings either. Very odd duck, if she's legit. Paula (stillmamamia) had asked me about her a few weeks back, and I assumed then :)oon the basis of the jdrf sneaker) that she was one of "us." I've since rethought that and defriended her. I think she's just collecting friends.

I got a friend request from her today and accepted it b/c of all my CWD friends who had already done so. I have since then removed her. :)

I noticed it too and she's gaining CWDers faster than she is losing them. lol I don't know, I hate to defriend her if she is legit. But I have to admit, it is quite weird.

I guess it depends on how you use facebook. I don't friend anyone I don't know, or talk to on a regular basis. And even then, I keep my wall and photos private to all but a small circle of people. I just find it creepy to friend someone who has refused to give any information about herself.
