endo says puberty is here for sure

    so the Lantus is going up to 28 a day and the Novolog to carb ratio is going down from 1:15 to 1:10. :eek:

    And then there are those dang hormones on top of it- I hope you survive! :)

    lol thank you. Shes the youngest of four, so puberty we are used to - just not how to tackle the big D with it. but I'm ready to fight!

    well if it is any consolation, i am finding the diabetes aspect of puberty a snap compared to the attitude and hormonal meltdowns of my 15 year old.Thank goodness for red wine and i-pods - best way to ignore them and relax :)

    We've also been dramatically raising those basal rates. Just when I think I can relax because the #s are great - it starts all over again. So glad I have this forum for advice!!
