Pasta is still our major bolus problem, everything else works quiet well - if it is home cooked:cwds: The only pasta that works somewhat is the dreamfield pasta, for those who use it, how do you bolus for it? How many carbs does a cooked cup have? Are you doing a dual/bolus, if so how?
I have had good luck with Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta (it has some added fiber and calcium, but doesn't taste like it). With all pasta's I measure 1 cup of cooked noodles as 45 grams. And then I add a cup of meat sauce, so it's very saucy, but I think that helps slow down the pasta carbs. Hope that helps.
Is that the stuff with all the fiber in it? I subtract the fiber from the carbs, otherwise it'll make him go low.
We use 5g for 1 cup cooked and do a normal bolus and have great luck with that. Others I know have to use 10g, but still use a normal bolus. It is just really trial and error but maybe that will give you a starting point.
