    My son was dx almost 2 years ago at age 4. My husband's niece was dx at age 9 about 1 year prior. No one else in family has d but my oldest son (age 7) is high risk---has genetic markers. No antibodies yet.

    Yes two here. No Type 1 or Type 2 anywhere in the family.

    Yes. 2 of my son's have type 1. We don't have any known diabetes in the family at all. My 1st was diagnosed 14 years ago and the other was dx'ed about 3 years ago.

    My mom's half sister's granddaughter has type 1. Maybe my grandma, I'm not sure, I had always assumed type 2 but now I'm not so sure:confused:

    My oldest has Growth hormone deficiency (Also goes to the Endo)

    Just one in our family. Wow I applaud everyone with the d children. I dont know how you handle it. I feel like I am sinking with just one:eek:

    Two here, my oldest was dx'd in Jan 2006 and my middle just this past July.

    I have two with it out of 4. My 4th is showing very early signs. I think she'll end up with it as well. Just my gut feeling - maybe I am paranoid....

    Both of our kids

    Daughter diagnosed June 2007, now age 4
    Son diagnosed July 2008, now age 9
