Here is the link but I can't fine this charm on the website. You could search for a store near you.

I got this for my daughter last year. She loves it. I also got the cancer awareness charm for my 12 year old niece who is a lymphoma survivor.

Melissa, is it silver? Hard to tell in the pic.
Which location did you get it at may I ask? I know there's one at Burlington. That's probably the closest to me...

Hi, Matthew. I think we have spoken before, but I think it is a shame that you are struggling to find people your own age with diabetes to talk to.

Perhaps you could speak to your parents about these events. http://www.diabetes.org.uk/How_we_help/Care-events/Children-and-Young-Peoples-Events-/ They are run by Diabetes UK. I attended one a few years ago, and there were a lot of people your age there and they seemed to get a lot from it. They also run family events. http://www.diabetes.org.uk/How_we_help/Care-events/Family-Events-/

You are probably going to struggle to find people of your own age online. I know for sure that when I was 11 my parents wouldn't have been happy with me talking to someone that I had met on the internet, and I expect that a lot of people are like that. So you might be better trying to find someone in real life.

If the Diabetes UK events aren't possible for you, perhaps you could ask at your diabetes clinic about whether they could recommend anything to get in contact with other children with type 1.
