Our G4 sensor failed on it's 4th day (the message on receiver said "Sensor failed, change sensor"). Is there a point of trying to restart it, or once it's dead, it's dead?

    Thanks!

I never do, but I think I have heard some try. Call Dexcom and they will replace it. Usually the only time we get sensor failure is around 14 days.

I did restart it, and it basically told me it's failed again. Ugh, we're just having a bad luck with Dexcom. :(

We also had our first sensor failure this week on day 2. We were told that if there is no connection in 3 hours, replace the sensor.

Call Dexcom for you replacement sensor.

We are starting our fourth sensor tonight. We have had no issues so far. Disruptions get fixed automatically in a few minutes. We haven't tried any alternate sites yet.
