Crap.... ER bound...

    Crap.... ER bound... Updated

    So after yesterday she was feeling better. This morning 470 sugar 4.6 ketones vomited 4 times now... So off to ER we go....

    Well we are in the ER looks like we might be here overnight at least... 7.08 ph and after 3 units uncovered insulin sugars are 519 from the lab. Recheck in an hour and a bed upstairs.

    This one came out of the blue

    Well the attending was just in, and they are having us stop her pump and starting an insulin drip. Hate that we have to be here, but glad shes going to be feeling better soon hopefully. Still waiting on labs to come back, going to be interesting to see what her white cell count is, as I am still not sure what caused this.

    Thanks everyone for the well wishs, we are just hanging out right now with Rocky (her stuffed Dinosaur, who now has an iv too) watching cartoons and waiting...

    To Update,

    We are still in the ER, waiting on a PICU room.... white count is WAY high, and we are not sure why, and still acidic...

    Well it least its not next weekend right? :)

    as of last VBG they said is was 12 and 14 when we came in, ph is still 7.12 right now, we have another VBG, lites, CBC and Glcouse in 20 minutes or so...

    Sorry the 38 and 41 were last white counts....
