If your high school has a career center, there might be a wealth of information there. Ours keeps every college catalog received and keeps files of financial aid sources.

So, just because we're getting to the age where scholarships are becoming of interest, if a child had a stellar record in school, extracurriculars, the arts, and community service, and manages their D acceptably, but their charitable work is directed towards causes other than diabetes, do they have an equal consideration as applicants who have the same background but who direct their charitable work towards other causes?

Thank you to those that gave some great information about scholarships that may be taken into consideration when our T1s start their college journeys. We appreciate the time spent explaining the criteria and selection process!! :)
