This may turn into a TMI thread, but I'm going to ask it anyway. Viewer discretion is advised. I had a c-section with Ava, and am due with her baby brother or sister (we won't find out until the big day) at the end of April. So far, I've got a scheduled c-section for April 26, but my doctor has left it open that if I go into labor, and all things look good, we can try to have the baby the "old fashioned way". Before having Ava, I felt really strongly about a natural delivery. I did all the pre-natal yoga, and fem power reading about how wonderful childbirth is. But she had other viewpoints and decided to get herself stuck breach with the cord around her neck. So we had a c-section. Now that I know all the wonderfulness being a mother involves, I don't care how one gets there, I just want the cute baby out of the package. So wondering other people's experiences if anyone HAS HAD a v-bac. The good the bad and the ugly. You don't have to post any gory details, but please tell me if you would recommend it, or recommend going with a c-peat. Dad's with this experience are also welcome to post.
