What type of lancet device do you use? What do you recommend?
Most people swear the multiclix is the best... My dd agrees.
Multiclix by a long shot. Alex was stunned when we first used it: "it didn't even hurt at all!".
My daughter prefers the Multiclix over any other lancing device. She says she would rather use a rusty nail than the lancing devices that came with her meters. So we have invested in a couple spare Multiclix to keep on hand in case one gets misplaced.
I will go buy one tomorrow or send my dh to walmart tonight! How many lancets are in one box?
Thank you so much!!!!!!!
the lancets are actually 6 in a little drum.. Not sure how many come inthe box though.
I think the multiclix is cool but the kids don't seem to use'm.
I also like the little ones that come with the One Touch Mini's nice and small.
Phillip got the multiclix last week and loves it. He says it doesn't even hurt. I don't know if its the same in America but our lancets came in a box of 24 (4 drums) or 100.
Multiclix!! I think there are around 20 drums/pack.
Multi Clix here too. If you call accu-chek they will most likely send you one out for free.
Multiiclix for sure!
Multiclix...it came with our aviva meter. My needle phobic, nonD son tests himself FOR THE FUN OF IT.
I agree mutli clik Phoenix loves his finger pokes and when Emily comes she begs me to use it over hers cause it doesnt hurt, I am going to get her on next week, she will be so happy.
Here is Canada they come in 2 boxes 100+2 or 200+4 hope this helps
We are trying out the Pelkansun for now, my son likes it cause its new, Im sure we will go back to Multi Click, that Pelikan thing is to big.
What magic words need to be said to them to get a free one? Sorry, I'm clueless about how to procure free stuff lol.
Definitely Multiclix, hands down. I think the boxes are "100+2" or something silly like that, for how many actually lancets there are. But, as others have said, they come in drums, so I don't know how many that works out to off the top of my head.
Multiclix!!!! DD will not use any other...she even makes the endo use it. as well as her peds office. she was there eariler in the week when she was real sick, they took blood, she made them use her Multiclick
Multiclix here too.
The only one Tim will use is the Accu-check Softclix. (he won't even use the new version of that-softclix plus).
I just tell them that I want to try out their product, I get freebies from all the companies, and they useally send one out , no problem. If the first rep you talk with says no just call back and talk with someone else.
I have a multiclix with every meter that I use and I have not paid for any of them.
