    GRRRRR. I HATTTEE those!!!
I once read an article and they're like, "Ok if you wanna prevent Type 1 diabetes for your children make sure they eat healthily and have enough excercise" I was like, "WHAT THE CRAP?!" grrr... Just by your name, SoccerFreak I can tell that YOU weren't much of a couch potato. I swim, run, play soccer and volleyball and have plans tonight to run 3 miles. I eat pretty healthily too. BUT gosh here they are trying to make it sound like we brought it on ourselves. grrrrrr.

I know there is no preventing type 1. Some people are just doomed from the start.
