I've never seen it but I'm starting to think it exists.
Ah yes...the "secret" Kids Diabetes Handbook reads:

"all ripped out sensors, pods and infusion sites can only be done minutes before bedtime or when parents are late for school/appt/etc."

"also good for delaying bedtime or missing the school bus: empty test strip containers, missing lancet devices, dropping CGMS devices in the yard and VERY itchy infusion sites that cannot possibly be tolerated for a minute longer (see chapter 2; itching sites until they are hanging and need to be changed)."

Anyone else care to add what they suspect is in the secret handbook?:D

How to screw up basal testing by going low for no reason, or by "forgetting" and eating something.

A chapter titled : How to make mom rip her hair out by eating breakfast everyday for a week, so when moms thinks it's finally ok to prebolus, then decide not to eat your breakfast, and end up low!

alternatively titled "Mom rents a room at the madhouse"

"how your pump can act just like a yoyo"

I think my DD wrote (or at least co-authored) the chapter on "Ways to skyrocket your blood sugar right before visit to Dr"

We also like the chapter that explains how to change your mind about what you're going to do all afternoon from watching TV to jumping on the trampoline---right after you have a snack bolus with a correction.

    LOL This thread is hysterical!!

My favorite chapter is: How to drive your parents crazy by picking out the most unfriendly carb counting items on the menu at the restaurant. Subtitle: I can't decide if I want chicken 'n biscuits or strawberry shortcake, mom.

    Another must-read chapter:

"How to make other people think your kid has the worst temper tantrums, and you have no authority over him/her, when in fact BG is heading down or already low, but the other people don't know it, and being that you are stressed, tired, you doubt your own abilities as a parent, and think maybe the other people are right, then treat the low, and have a good cry over a Twix"

Maybe too long for a title:confused:
