9 yr old son not diagnosed..have questions

    Actually, the kidney's tipping point (aka the renal threshhold) is widely variable by person. Mine is about 155 mg/dl.

    I would have to urinate frequent if I drank tea as well. Tea usually has caffeine which also increases the need to urinate.

    Going to the restroon three times in 2 1/2 hours after drinking 2 glasses of tea is not frequent.

    At diagnosis, my son needed to urinate every 30 minutes and would void more than 2 cups each time. He was only 3 at the time.

    I hope you get answers to all your questions and are able have to whatever ails your son be treated.
